Montague Road Draft Transport Study 2024

Council invites you to have your say on the draft transport study for the Montague Road corridor in West End and South Brisbane.

This draft transport study is at an early stage of the planning process and helps Council better understand current community travel experiences, what the future looks like for Montague Road and what options we may need to consider to keep our city moving.

The first phase of community engagement in December 2023, along with a range of technical inputs, was considered helped to inform the development of the draft transport study.

Once finalised, the transport study study will establish a vision and strategic direction for the Montague Road corridor and surrounding road network. This will help inform future transport investment in this area.

This planning study is a joint initiative of Brisbane City Council and the Queensland Government.

An online survey seeking your feedback on the draft transport study is now open.

Council would like to understand your level of support for the draft transport study outcomes, including the vision and plan outlined.

Before completing the online survey, please read through the draft transport study document, particularly the draft vision and strategic priorities, future strategic transport network plan and future strategic opportunities.

The online survey will close on Sunday 15 December 2024 at 11.59pm.
