Brisbane City Council is creating a new neighbourhood plan for Nathan, Salisbury and Moorooka. Neighbourhood plans help guide future development and coordinate land use and infrastructure over a 10-year period and beyond. Once complete, the neighbourhood plan will become part of Brisbane City Plan 2014 (City Plan).

Council has drafted a new proposed Nathan, Salisbury, Moorooka Neighbourhood Plan based on community feedback on a draft strategy and technical investigations of the area, undertaken from 2019 to 2021.

Council sought Queensland Government approval to proceed with public consultation on the draft plan in December 2022. In November 2023, the Queensland Government's response required Council to make changes, which have been made.

The draft Nathan, Salisbury, Moorooka Neighbourhood Plan is now open for community feedback.

To have your say, go to the Nathan, Salisbury, Moorooka Neighbourhood Plan project page. Submission close 11.59pm, Sunday 16 June 2024.
