Brisbane Powerhouse dog off-leash area upgrade

Council is committed to creating more to see and do in a city that’s clean and green, and this includes improving the experience for the users of the Brisbane Powerhouse dog off-leash area.

Council is maintaining more than 2100 parks across the city with more created all the time. For the Brisbane Powerhouse dog off-leash area, with its high use and its trees heavily shading grassed areas have created some maintenance issues, especially dust and exposed dirt.

Community feedback indicated users and local residents are keen to see the dog off-leash area restored. Council is going to refurbish the dog off-leash area, with works taking place from August to early November 2019. Design is in the final stages, however Council would like to hear your feedback on the draft design.
