River Access Network

Council is committed to improving access to the Brisbane River for residents and visitors, promoting an active and healthy lifestyle by encouraging greater use of the city’s recreational facilities and enhancing the attraction offered by the Brisbane River as a recreational and tourist destination.

The River Access Network is part of this commitment and identifies the next step in the evolution of Brisbane as a river city and expanding recreational and tourism opportunities on the river.

Council will be monitoring the usage of the West End Recreation Hub over the next 12 months and we welcome feedback on all operational aspects such as duration of stay, signage, and usage. Where possible, Council will look to update the pontoon’s usage in line with community feedback.

To provide feedback on how you think the facility is operating, please complete the online survey below.
