Streetscape improvement examples

Brisbane City Council is engaging with the local community to get their thoughts and ideas on how areas of the public streetscape along Lambert Road, between Railway Avenue and Clarence Road, Indooroopilly, could be improved.

Through this project, we wanted to highlight the importance of connections to, within and through the precinct, as well as creatively interpreting the precinct's character and identity. For instance, the project focused on improvements such as wayfaring elements, public art, unique lighting, seating spaces, pedestrian links, street greenery, and footpath enhancements.

Below are some examples of previous streetscape improvements delivered across Brisbane as part of Council's previous public space improvement projects.

3 x images of examples of wayfaring elements from previous Council projects, including a statue of a painted kookaburra, stairs with text, and metal black and white birds on sign posts

3 x examples of public art from previous Council projects including metal garden statues and text on concrete
