Speed compliance enhancements

Location

• Cambridge Parade, on the western approach to the intersection with Melville Terrace and Arnold Street.

Traffic / Safety improvements

• Introduce new coloured road markings with raised islands on either side for the 40km/h speed zone on Cambridge Parade on the western approach to the intersection, to encourage motorists to slow down and comply to the speed limit.
• Extending the kerb on the northwest corner of Melville Terrace and Cambridge Parade to reduce the lane width and encourage motorists to slow down when turning.
