Davies Park improvement project

Davies Park improvement project

Brisbane City Council has developed a park improvement plan for Davies Park, West End through consultation and feedback from the local community. This plan will help guide current and future upgrades to the park.

Community feedback received in late 2017 has helped shape and inform key features of the plan. The improvements focus on increasing and enhancing accessible green space, promoting a sense of community, increasing recreational opportunities and maintaining the park's natural appeal. An improved connection through the park is also a key feature.

Council has $2.1 million this financial year for this project. Funding this year will commence delivery on key elements of the plan, with progressive delivery of other elements in future years based on citywide priorities for park improvements.

Before designs are finalised, Council would like to hear your feedback on the draft improvement plan for the park.
