Option 4: One-way only on Hipwood Road in the NORTHBOUND direction

Potential/likely impact:

This option is expected to result in the largest decrease in traffic on Hipwood Road, the largest increase in traffic on Crosby Road and Royal Terrace, and a small increase in traffic on Crescent Road, east of Hipwood Road.

This option is subject to a review and the feasibility of maintaining adequate emergency and larger vehicle access, and changes to waste collection arrangements. Further design investigations will be required if this option receives support to progress to the next stages of planning and design.
