Option 7: Removal of chicanes from Hipwood Road

Potential/likely impact:

This option is expected to result in a small increase in traffic Hipwood Road in the northbound direction, a small increase in traffic on Hipwood Rd in the southbound direction, and a decrease in travel time along Hipwood Road by about 13 seconds during morning peak traffic periods.

Further design investigations will be required if this option receives support to progress to the next stages of planning and design.
