Keating Park upgrade project

Brisbane City Council is planning a park upgrade for Keating Park, Indooroopilly to ensure it continues to meet the needs of the growing community.

Council is developing a concept plan to guide planning for future park improvements and recreation needs of the growing Indooroopilly community. Council will consider the surrounding natural environment values as part of the project.

At this early stage of the project, Council invited the community to provide park improvement ideas to help shape the preparation of the draft concept plan.

These ideas will be considered alongside technical investigations and Council requirements to help shape future park improvements.

The concept plan will focus on the area of Keating Park west of Underhill Avenue. The section of park where the war memorial is located is not in scope for this concept planning project.

Council invited the community to share their connection to the park along with improvement ideas to help shape the draft concept plan for the Keating Park upgrade project by:

  • completing the online survey, and/or
  • visiting one of the information kiosks.
