Kedron Brook Vision and Master Plan project

The Kedron Brook Revitalisation Draft Vision was released and we are currently inviting the community to share their thoughts and impressions until 11.59pm, Sunday 6 September 2026

This initial community engagement has now closed. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback. You will have another opportunity to have your say in late 2026 when the draft 20-year direction is released.  

Brisbane City Council is planning to create a 20-year Vision and Master Plan to revitalise and rejuvenate the Kedron Brook catchment.

Kedron Brook is a much-loved destination for many local residents, and we want to ensure it continues to be a great place to visit by boosting flood resilience and improving lifestyle outcomes.

At this early stage of community engagement, Council was keen to understand your aspirations and perspectives about where and what we focus on over the next 20-years, to deliver a transformational Vision and Master Plan.

Council invited you to have your say by:

• dropping pinpoint location-specific comments on three upper, middle or lower catchment maps
• completing the survey and sharing your aspirations for the Kedron Brook catchment
• attending one of the 6 information kiosks
• attending the Sustainable BNE festival.

The feedback period for the initial stage of community engagement for Kedron Brook Vision and Master Plan project closed on Sunday 29 June 2025.

Your contributions will be considered along with technical inputs and Council's requirements to help inform the preparation of a draft vision and master plan.
