Brisbane City Council is taking action to create Safer School Precincts in our suburbs.

As part of this commitment, we are launching our new Safer School Precincts program in Kedron.

Safer School Precincts pave the way for children and their families to move safely around their schools, whether you walk, drive or ride.

How we move around our suburbs affects how we live in them. By improving how we move, we’re improving how we live.

We want to make it easier to choose different ways of getting around our suburbs and encourage more people to travel safely and sustainably.

We will do this by delivering a range of coordinated infrastructure treatments that will make it safer and easier for you to move, however you choose to.

Have your say

Your feedback will help us create the plan to give you more safe ways to move around our schools and suburbs while easing congestion.

Your insights will help us understand how you as the local community experiences travelling around the precinct and what opportunities you see for improvement.

We will combine your insights with technical data and best design practices to help shape the precinct plan for the Kedron Safer School Precinct.

You can have your say and share your ideas by:

  1. Completing the online survey below. The information you give us in the survey is important to help us understand how you move in your precinct and what types of improvements you want to see most.
  2. Once you've completed the survey, you'll have the opportunity to suggest specific locations for improvement by dropping pins on a map. It's important you complete the survey first so we understand your priorities for the precinct.

If you've completed the survey and mapping activity previously and want to add more suggestions, please click here to return to the map.

Community consultation closes at 11:59pm, Thursday 12 December 2024.
