Mowbray Park:
- was originally purchased by Council in 1903
- is heritage listed with full citations in the Queensland State Heritage Register
- is listed as a District General Recreation Park
- includes 3.2 hectares of tree lined paths and lawns on a site which slopes gently down to the edge of the Brisbane River from Lytton Road
- includes some significant vegetation including well-established Eucalypts, Kauri pines, Hoop pines and Fig trees
- contains three leased facilities and the Mowbray Park ferry terminal.
