Planning for the future Pallara District Sports Park
Consultation has concluded
Consultation on the Pallara District Sports Park project has now closed. Thank you to everyone who has provided feedback.
As part of Council’s commitment to provide more opportunities for sport, recreation, relaxation, and meeting with family and friends in one of the many places that makes our city great, Council will be preparing a concept plan for the Pallara District Sports Park.
The concept plan will guide planning for the sport and recreation needs of the growing Pallara community.
At this first stage of community engagement, Council invited the community to help shape the preparation of a draft concept plan by sharing thoughts and ideas on how the future Pallara District Sports Park might be used and enjoyed in the future.
Have your say
Council invited the community to review the Draft Site Map and provide feedback. This was done by:
- Online - completing the feedback survey by 11:59pm, 12 November 2023
- In-person - at one of the information kiosks,
- Saturday, 21 October, 9am to 12pm being held at 45 Van Dieren Road, Pallara
- Wednesday, 25 October, 4 to 6pm being held in Pallara Park, Brookbent Road, Pallara
Feedback will be considered along with technical investigations and Council requirements and will help inform the preparation of a draft concept plan for further community engagement in 2024.

- Build a multi-use indoor recreation and community facility
- Create outdoor multi-purpose sports fields and or courts
- Have a pedestrian pathway linking the park from Devries Road to Van Dieren Road
- Onsite parking
