Consultation has concluded. 

Brisbane City Council is pleased to announce that funding was allocated in the Suburban Corridor Modernisation budget to commence planning and consultation of traffic and safety improvements along Hemmant Tingalpa Road in Hemmant.

In response to concerns and suggestions about motorist and pedestrian safety in your local area, Council is seeking feedback on potential traffic and safety improvements along Hemmant Tingalpa Road.

We have identified six potential traffic and safety improvement options for your consideration including:

  • Pedestrian access and visibility
  • No stopping conditions
  • Construction of missing footpath links
  • New pedestrian crossing facilities
  • Speed awareness monitors
  • LED road signs
