Brisbane City Council is preparing Walking Network Plans (WNP) for a number of locations across Brisbane with funding support from the Queensland Government’s Walking Grants (WLGG) program.

The Walking Network Plans will identify how everyday destinations can be better connected by comfortable, direct, safe and accessible routes to inform planning and be supported by future works programs to enhance walkability in the area.

A critical part of this plan is the local community's feedback, which will help us understand the current experiences of walking around the Sandgate precinct and what improvements the community would like to see in the area.

Have your say

Council invited the community to have their say on the Sandgate Walking Network Plan by:

  • completing the online feedback survey and/or
  • dropping a pin on the map to provide location specific comments.
