Final Concept Plan

We've developed a final concept plan for Wittonga Park in The Gap. The plan will guide future improvements to the playground and picnic area.

The plan reflects your feedback and explores ways to improve these spaces. The improvements will help keep the areas welcoming and well loved. They will continue to support the community now and into the future.

The final concept plan proposes new park features including:

• accessible connecting pathways and native planting
• shelters, seating, picnic areas, drinking fountains and bins
• play equipment for older and younger children
• a carousel, fish rocker, double swing sets, hammock swing and basket swing
• nature play area with stepping boulders and balancing logs for active play.

Progressing the upgrades at Wittonga Park will occur when funding is allocated in future years, subject to citywide priorities. We thank everyone for their feedback and continued support.
