Consultation has concluded

Consultation on the Wynnum Wading Pool park - W.Poole playground upgrade has now closed. Thank you to everyone who has provided feedback.

Council is committed to creating more to see and do in our suburbs, and this project will provide an upgrade to a well-loved playground located next to the Whimsical Whales water play area on Wynnum’s beautiful esplanade.

After assessing the constraints of the area, existing play equipment, existing established heritage trees surrounding and conducting site investigations, Council has developed a draft improvement plan for a playground upgrade that will meet the diverse needs of the community.

Council is committed to protecting the natural heritage values of the area, and the proposed works in the draft improvement plan will not have a negative impact on the existing vegetation or require Council to remove any existing trees.
