Consultation on the Bridgeman Downs Neighbourhood Plan draft strategy has now closed. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback.
Brisbane City Council is creating a new neighbourhood plan for Bridgeman Downs. Neighbourhood plans help guide future development and coordinate land use and infrastructure over a 10-year period and beyond. Once complete, the neighbourhood plan will become part of Brisbane City Plan 2014.
Community consultation on the draft strategy took place in late 2020. Feedback on the draft strategy is now being used to prepare the Bridgeman Downs neighbourhood plan (statutory document).
Community consultation on the draft Bridgeman Downs neighbourhood plan is anticipated to take place in 2021. Subscribe for project updates to be informed about community consultation.

Council reviews your feedback and prepares the draft neighbourhood plan, then requests Queensland Government feedback.
Council updates the neighbourhood plan with Queensland Government feedback and then adopts the plan, which will form a part of Brisbane City Plan 2014.
Development in Bridgeman Downs will be assessed against the neighbourhood plan requirements.
