- Community - Maximise opportunity for recreation and relaxation
- Environment - Increase the habitat values and scenic amenity of the foreshore parklands
- Resilience - Reduce the risk of sea levels, storm surge and king tides affection the parkland and surrounding streets
The Brighton Foreshore Parklands draft concept plan encompasses the area from Brighton Park to 9th Avenue and includes:
