CityLink Cycleway trial
Consultation has concluded
Updated April 2022
Community consultation on the CityLink Cycleway trial has now concluded. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback. For the latest updates on this project, visit CityLink Cycleway trial on Council's website.
Council’s CityLink Cycleway trial is delivering a network of dedicated cycling facilities to encourage even more Brisbane residents, visitors and commuters to use sustainable modes of transport and help reduce the need for car-based travel into the city centre.
This trial was part of our commitment to expand our city’s active transport network to deliver safe, convenient and connected bikeways and help improve active transport options for Brisbane.
Council monitored the usage of the CityLink Cycleway over 12 months to March 2022. We welcomed feedback on all aspects of the project, including safety, bikeway usage, alternate alignments, design improvements and benefits of using the bikeway. Where possible, we looked to update the bikeway in line with community feedback.
Residents were invited to have their say on the CityLink Cycleway trial by completing a survey and quick poll, or by asking the project team questions directly.
