What are sustainable growth precinct plans?

Sustainable growth precinct plans show how we will renew urban areas to create better communities. They aim to deliver more housing choices, jobs, and mixed-use spaces while meeting targets in the Queensland Government’s South East Queensland Regional Plan 2023 (ShapingSEQ 2023). 

These plans look at land use, zoning, infrastructure, design, sustainability, and connectivity to build vibrant, liveable places.

Final precinct plans may include catalyst projects to spark positive change and updates to Brisbane City Plan 2014 (City Plan).
