Brisbane City Council is pleased to announce that in response to local community concerns and suggestions about motorist and pedestrian safety throughout the Fifth Avenue Precinct in Coorparoo, funding was allocated in Council’s 2021-22 budget to undertake planning, community consultation and design of traffic management throughout the precinct.
Council’s Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) team has developed some options and potential traffic management measures (see below) to discourage the use of local streets by through traffic throughout the precinct and aims to improve access, safety and connectivity for all road users.

The consultation period will close at midnight on Friday 19 November 2021.
